A hands-on crew based in Lakewood, working across the west side of Denver with a focus on doing the prep right.
Who We Are
Belmar Tile Installation is a small, focused crew operating out of Lakewood, Colorado. We work across the western suburbs of Denver, primarily in Lakewood, Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, and Golden, because that is where we know the housing stock, the soil conditions, and the local suppliers well enough to do the work properly.
Tile installation is a trade that rewards patience. The visible part of the job, the finished floor or shower wall, only looks right if the work underneath it was done carefully. That means checking subfloor deflection before laying cement board, reading moisture readings before waterproofing, and planning the tile layout on paper before any thinset is mixed. We do all of that as a matter of course, not as an upsell.
Our crew is small by choice. Smaller teams communicate better, take more personal responsibility for each job, and are easier to hold accountable. When you hire us, you are not getting a rotating cast of laborers from a crew roster. You get the same people from the walkthrough to the final day.
What We Work With
We install porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, marble, mosaic, and large-format slabs. Each material has its own demands. Marble veining needs to be oriented before cutting so the pattern flows across the room. Large-format tiles (anything over 24 inches) require a back-buttered application and often a layer of medium-bed mortar to achieve full coverage without hollow spots. Mosaics on mesh backing need the substrate to be perfectly flat so the individual pieces do not rock. We know the difference, and we work accordingly.
We also handle the removal of existing tile, substrate repairs, cement board installation, and waterproofing in wet areas. Most of our jobs include at least some of that prep work, and we factor it into the estimate honestly.
Our Service Area
We serve Lakewood, Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, and Golden. These communities have a range of housing types, from post-war bungalows in Edgewater to newer construction in Belmar and high-end foothills homes in Golden. We have worked in all of them and understand the specific challenges each presents.
